Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and had two high 4-poster double beds, an armoire, a flat-screen TV, a coffee-maker, and a beautifully updated bathroom with a beautiful and very large balcony. The breakfast was decent and satisfying. The location was great, just two easy walking blocks from a main food and entertainment area. The service was top-notch, with excellent housekeeping and tours/ticket assistance. However, the dining experience was somewhat slow in the past but has improved over the years.
The hotel had a great antique feel, cozy rooms, and was very accommodating, but the weekend cost could have been better for the value.
This hotel was a gem in the heart of downtown Mobile, offering a convenient and enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast, though not exceptional, was decent. The location was excellent for exploring the historic downtown area and within easy walking distance of many restaurants. However, the dining experience was a bit slow in the past year, the musty smell in the room was a drawback initially.
The hotel oozes Southern charm with its beautiful rooms reminiscent of the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. The ambiance is lovely, but some darkness due to limited lighting. The service was adequate, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Mobile by foot, although a bit neglected in certain areas. The dining options were decent but lacked some essentials. Overall, a quaint stay with room for improvement.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms, although small, were comfortable and clean, making my experience an absolute delight. The service was top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring Downtown Mobile easily. However, the dining experience was less than average, missing the mark on presentation and ambiance. Overall, a great choice for a stay in Mobile!
